Theodor Sandström

Theodor has a broad leadership experience in Medical Device and Pharma sectors, with a history of 26 years in Gambro, Baxter, Ferring Pharmaceuticals and BOC Ohmeda, mainly within the field of R&D. Most recently he served as CTO and interim CEO of Medimi AB, a listed Medical Device company in Swedish Stock Market. Theodor has also worked as consultant for start up Medical Device and Pharma companies.
In Gambro and Baxter, he served as VP of R&D Portfolio Management, Head of R&D Disposables, Director of R&D Solutions in Gambro and Director of Global Program Management Office in Baxter.
Theodor was the owner of the development process in Gambro, R&D responsible for the divesting of the Gambro PD portfolio to Fresenius and was also responsible for the integration of the Gambro Project Managers to the Baxter PMO. During his time in Gambro, he was a delegate in the Swedish MedTech QA/RA group, member of SIS where he was part of the Swedish delegation for the ISO TC 150 during 2002-2015 and for some years also the head of the Swedish delegation.
Theodor holds a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Lund University and an Executive MBA from EFL in Lund.
